School Meals
School Dinners
- Due to The London Mayor's initiative School Dinners are free for the current academic year (2024/25)
- Alternatively, if you wish your child can bring a packed lunch in every day
- School meals are prepared on site daily by ISS food Services. They provide fresh and healthy meals catering for both veg and non veg options. Both Halal and non Halal meal options are also available daily. There is no pork or beef meat on the current menu.
We encourage all children to choose a hot school meal. Daily meal options include:
- Meat or fish
- Vegetarian choice
- Freshly baked bread
- Salad bar
- Dessert and/or fresh fruit/yoghurt
Meals are planned around a three week menu cycle, meeting all government dietary requirements for schools. Take a look at our current menu! Meals are served in the main hall. Children eat together with their class.
Registration for Further Funding Free School Meals
In addition to providing a free school meal, the government also gives the school additional funding for every eligible pupil, this would be families on a low income or those receiving benefits. Please let us know if your child is eligible even if they do not want to take the free school meal option. We use this additional money to obtain additional staff and resources that help improve the quality of education.
To find out whether your child qualifies for free school meals, and hence whether the school would receive additional funding, please fill in the details requested on the Free School Meals Eligibility Checker. A Certificate of Eligibility is available through the website for any child eligible for a free school meal that is attending a school in England. The Certificate of Eligibility should be brought into school.
